Conference Registration

Registration is open 

In-person registration includes access to all conference sessions, sponsored symposia, exhibitions, posters and networking and on-demand access to a selection of recorded sessions. 
 
See below for information on accommodation options available on-site at the University of Warwick. 
 
Virtual attendance will include access to a selection of live-streamed programme sessions and on-demand access post-conference only.

Student registration MUST be supported by a letter from your head of department or valid student card confirming your status. This can be emailed to natasha@wheldonevents.co.uk

Plenary Speakers -  there is no need to complete a registration form. The conference organisers will write to you directly to confirm your requirements during the conference. 

Chairpersons / Abstract Presenters / Committee – please complete the registration form in the usual way.

Accommodation and Social 

Choose between hotel-style or student accommodation rooms, both located on the University campus. 

Accommodation - Option 1 - student rooms 

  • Accommodation | Single bedded room with en suite bathroom | Bluebell House, University  of Warwick 
  • £80 per night including breakfast (available Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 July) 
  • Key collection from Senate House | Breakfast in Rootes Building  
  • This accommodation is not suitable for those with reduced mobility.

Accommodation - Option 2 - hotel style 

  • Standard double room for single occupancy | Scarman House, University of Warwick 
  • £140 per night including breakfast (available Tuesday 9, Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 July) 
  • Hotel-style accommodation - everything in one building - check-in, dining room, lounge and bar area

***Bluebell House accommodation | Notification from the University of Warwick accommodation office: From Summer 2022 there will be several changes to our service provision within bedrooms. 

- Refreshments will be moved from bedrooms into kitchens. We will continue to have one kitchen in all residences and two in some. 
- Hairdryers have been removed from bedrooms and made available at Conference Reception along with clock radios if required. 
- Bedroom cleaning will be done every 3 days not daily. 
- Soap only will be provided in bedrooms (not bottled toiletries). There will be a supply of these at Conference Reception if required until stocks are finished.   


Terms and conditions for registration

PAYMENT IS accepted by credit card, bank transfer or invoice.  NO cheque payments can be accepted. 

Amendments to registration: 

Any amendments must be submitted, in writing, to the meeting organisers.  Amendments will be accepted until 23:59 hrs – Monday 17 June. No charge will be made for amendments to registration for name changes or substitutions. Email the logistics office at natasha@wheldonevents.co.uk 

Cancellations and refunds: 

Notification of cancellation must be sent, in writing, to the logistics office. Cancellations will be accepted until 23:59 hrs – Monday 17 June with a refund of all pre-paid fees. No refund for cancellations will be made after this date, but named substitutions can be made. Face-to-face attendees can transition to virtual if they have covid and cannot attend but no refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline above. 

Conditions: 

All best endeavours will be made to present the programme as detailed. However, HEART UK reserve the right to alter or cancel without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly to the conference and exhibition, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. HEART UK and the conference organising committee, and its agents, are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration.  In the event of cancellation of the conference, all pre-paid fees will be refunded in full. However, HEART UK are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such a cancellation.
